A heritage hotel built in 1861 as part of the new Opéra district, Le Scribe first served as headquarters of the Jockey Club and in 1895 hosted the Lumière brothers' first public cinema screening. Designed by Tristan Auer, it blends the legacy of a historic hotel with the intimacy of a Haussmannian apartment, and its sixth-floor spa features a hammam. It stands between the Grands Boulevards and Place Vendôme, near the Palais Garnier and the Louvre.
