Amanyangyun

A village retreat just outside downtown Shanghai, set in a camphor forest relocated from Jiangxi Province along with centuries-old Ming- and Qing-dynasty houses moved brick by brick. The restored antique villas stand amid the flourishing trees near a tranquil lake. At the heart of the forest stands the King Camphor Tree, whose seeds are cultivated by hand through the resort's seedling programme.
